The next month is going to be a hard one. My girlfriend is moving to Scotland as of next Wednesday, for four to five weeks!
She has to go with a bunch of people at work to help out at a new division they're creating up there, and it's a great opportunity for her, but I'm certainly going to miss her a lot.
Plus, it's her birthday in that time! It's on a Tuesday so I'm going to fly up on the weekend before and take her out and give her presents, and I've already started looking at flower delivery scotland so I can get a bouquet delivered to her on the day.
Who would've thought me to be such a big softie hey? I never saw it coming, but I can't help, I truly understand why people say 'my other half' now, she really is!

This concern is reflected in the lines, “We ain’t got no swing / Except for the ring of that truncheon thing”. Other lines reflect The Clash’s uneasiness regarding casual drug taking: “we ain’t got no high / except for that one with the yellowy eyes”. Another line highlights the band’s worries about their situation as the English punk rock boom ended: “now don’t look to us / phoney Beatlemania has bitten the dust”. Have a litsen to the song with your

I know it was unseasonable to have such a random burst of summer weather in October, but it certainly was a bit of a treat, and I miss it already!
Oh well, it's back to jackets and jeans and hoodies then, what can you do? At least it's not coats, scarves, gloves and hats weather just yet. I'll wait until it's ski boot weather before I start moaning!

They were £100 so I was so shocked when she showed me them (but she has just got a bonus so I don’t feel that guilty!). They are called rugged combat and they are described as contemporary mixed with vintage.
They have a zip down the side and laces at the front so are ideal with the military look. And as they aren’t very summery I can definitely wear them before our holiday without getting told off!
